Wednesday, June 1, 2022 - Lister Hill Library 3D Printer Training
- Attend this session to complete the required 3D printer training for single-extruder filament printers. This training is an introduction to the filament-based 3D printers in Lister Hill Library and 3DPrinterOS, our web-based 3DPrinter management system.
- This session is recommended for beginners and individuals who have never used a 3D printer before. No previous experience with 3D printing is required and no additional software is needed to begin 3D printing during this session. Laptops will not be provided. Attendees are welcome to bring their own laptops or mobile devices. Advance registration is required
- Tuesday, June 7, 2022 - Sterne Library 3D Printer Training
- Attend this session to complete the required 3D printer training for single-extruder filament printers. This training is an introduction to the Dremel 3D45 3D printers in Sterne Library and 3DPrinterOS, our web-based 3DPrinter management system.
- No previous experience with 3D printing is required and no additional software is needed to begin 3D printing during this session. Laptops will not be provided at this session. Attendees are welcome to bring their own laptops or mobile devices. Advance registration is required.
- Friday, June 17, 2022 - Virtual 3D Printer Training
- Attend this session to complete the required 3D printer training for UAB Libraries over Zoom. This training is an introduction to single-extruder filament printers and 3DPrinterOS, our web-based 3D printer management system.

- Wednesday June 22, 2022 - Form 2 Resin Printer 3D Printer Training
- Attend this session to complete the 3D printer training required to use the UAB Libraries Form 2 SLA (resin-based) 3D printer. This session will include an introduction to the reservation calendar for the Form 2 3D printer, the PreForm software for the Form 2, and basic Form 2 printer operation.
- This is an advanced training session for individuals with prior 3D printing experience. This session is not recommended for individuals who are new to 3D printing. Laptops will not be provided at this session. Attendees are welcome to bring their own laptops or devices with Preform software installed.
