The UAB Libraries provide several technologies both for use inside of the physical library buildings and for members of the UAB Community to borrow from the UAB Libraries for use on and off-campus.

Sterne Library, Lister Hill Library, LHL @ University Hospital, and the Sparks Library provide access to computer workstations and printers. Check each library’s services list for a current information on computer workstations and printers available for use in the physical library spaces.

Technology items such as laptops, cameras, and portable DVD players can be borrowed from the HUB desks in Sterne Library and Lister Hill Library. For more information on technology items that can be borrowed from the UAB Libraries please visit our technology collections page.

UAB Libraries offers support through two LibLabs: one in Sterne Library and one in Lister Hill Library. The LibLabs provide access to emerging technologies such as 3D printing and virtual reality. All 3D printing must follow the UAB Libraries 3D Printing Guidelines."
