A series of images from the UAB Archives

The UAB Archives is the official repository for the permanent records of the University and for archival collections held by UAB. In addition to institutional records, the UAB Archives collects personal papers of private individuals and records created by organizations that place in a broader context UAB's role as a leader in the state and in the health sciences or as a comprehensive urban university.

Manuscript Collections include the personal papers of UAB faculty and staff, of the state's healthcare and research professionals, and of organizations or entities associated with UAB or one of the university's constituent communities.

As they are processed and made available, each manuscript collection is assigned a sequential identification number. The manuscripts can be searched by this identification number (Numerical), by title (Alphabetical), or by subject (Subjects List).
